The Exceeding Expectations Project and Scholarship Foundation knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. In 2019 our founder Rachel Hudson began looking for the best way to have a meaningful impact on her community. She realized two things, #1 people can't compete when the playing field isn't fair and #2 the key to success is access to information, resources and opportunities. She noticed that when individuals are given the proper information and allowed access to the appropriate resources and opportunities, everyone has the capability to exceed society's expectations of them.
Being an African-American woman born and raised in Oakland, CA it is important to Rachel that children especially African American children that come from where she comes from are given a level playing field to succeed.
Our Mission
At Exceeding Expectations Project & Scholarship Foundation, our mission is to empower underprivileged youth by providing them with access to vital information, resources, and financial support necessary to achieve their educational and personal goals. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment that fosters a culture of success, resilience, and high achievement for young individuals who often lack access to opportunities. By building a comprehensive support system, we strive to inspire and equip the next generation with the tools they need to realize their potential, overcome obstacles, and exceed their expectations. Together, we aim to transform lives and create pathways to a brighter future for all youth.

Our vision at Exceeding Expectations Project & Scholarship Foundation is to create a world where every underprivileged youth has equal access to the information, resources, and support they need to achieve their dreams and reach their fullest potential. We envision a future in which all young individuals, regardless of their background, are empowered to navigate their paths to success with confidence and determination. By cultivating a nurturing environment and robust support system, we aim to inspire a generation of high achievers who will break barriers and contribute positively to their communities. Together, we aspire to foster a society where opportunity and achievement are within reach for all youth, transforming lives and creating lasting change.

BACKPACK GIVEAWAY
In 2 short years Exceeding Expectations has given away over 500 backpacks and school supplies to Northern California youth. Our Goal is to make 2022 more and more incredible.
